I haven’t kept up with my blog like I desired to last year (haha), so I’m doing something a little different to make it more interesting for you (& me). To start off the year, I’m introducing the T.O.aS.T. of the week. In this scenario I’m making a TOaST to music. What does TOaST mean, you ask? Throwback. Oldie. And Song of Today. I love music because its inspiring and it motivates me and because of that I have to make a TOaST. During my lunch break I had some time that needed passing. So, I went to a store I normally wouldn’t go to & found some kissable treats. These funky glasses would make a perfect accessory to a smOOch-tacular goodie bag. This is something I will definitely keep in mind for a night in with the girls. If you love them too, hit up your nearest mall for a closer observation, in Claire’s.

To Infinity & Beyond I stumbled upon a familiar quote today & it stated “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” I use to do just that until I got a revelation, this quote is for beginners. I’ve grown beyond that point. I can’t shoot for the moon in hopes to land amongst the stars. At this stage in my life, its a cop out. Plus, there’s way too many of them to gain a distinctive identity. Not to mention, they all look alike from afar. Although, if I were a star, I would be a shooting star due to my incapabilities of keeping still, therefore, I wouldn’t go unnoticed (FYI). I said all that to say, don’t let the moon be your end nor beginning & don’t let the stars be your back up. (There’s holes in the sky, it won’t always catch you.) AIM HIGHER!! For most of us, this is unfamiliar territory but unfamiliar territory is just opportunity to explore. I’m aiming higher, much higher at that!! I’m going beyond the last planet & even the galaxy. I’m going “to infinity & beyond!!” I’m going for GOD!! (You should too!!)

I also came across this smOOch doll, Rita Ora, looking darling in this juicy red trench dress by designer Wes Gordon . She was first spotted in this delicious coat back in October, for a cocktail party, hosted by Anna Wintour. I’ve been keeping a close eye on her, for her fashionable threads & I’m starting to accept red as her fave color. (Which she looked darling in when she wore a Marchesa ‘12 gown for the MTV EMA’s ) I can’t say she holds down a spot, in my top 3 (as of yet) but I will make room for her in my kissable 5. (Somewhere before Teyana Taylor but after Rihanna)

I didn’t find anything worth gabbing about, in this months Vogue issue, but I did love the little surprise from Target and Neiman Marcus. If you didn’t know, I love Target!! My love becomes an obsession when they become a duo with some dobbie designer &/or company. Don’t let me start talking about their advertising strategies. I think they are geniuses. Anyways, pick it up to get better details on their inserts.
